I've worked on several multimedia projects: as associate director of Columbia University's Malcolm X Project, I served as associate editor of an online, annotated, multimedia version of The Autobiography of Malcolm X; a multimedia study environment for W.E.B. Du Bois's The Souls of Black Folk; and a 20th century African American history web-based curriculum aid for secondary school teachers called the Amistad Digital Resource.
I am interested is in developing tools that will not only assist students in the classroom, but also humanities researchers in collecting, analyzing, and presenting our findings in new and interesting ways.
