I'm a Ph.D. candidate in 20th and 21st century American literature at Purdue University with an interest in the different ways technology impacts how we write. My dissertation looks at how American authors of the early 1900s alter their discursive practices in the wake of the chronophotography and the cinema, but I'm equally interested in the different ways we might ask students to write and create projects using technology. I have basic experience with HTML, CSS, Wordpress, and Drupal, but I'm looking to expand this skill set. The idea of digital humanities and alt-ac are fairly new to me, so I'm looking for anything that might give me a stronger foothold in those areas.
