I am a Post-doctoral Scholar in the history department at the University of Kentucky. I graduated with my Ph.D. from Michigan State University in 2010. My personal research interests are in African American Intellectual History. I have worked on several different projects with Mark Kornbluh, the founder of H-Net.org and Matrix.msu.edu, including a mapping of interdisciplinary research/teaching and a year-long, university wide focus on South Africa. I am the Friday contributor at the US Intellectual History blog.
